People hit by the desastrous red sludge in Hungary has achieved an important success by obtaining from the government an official promise to be totally remunerated for their losses. The local Communities of Devecser, Kolontár and Somlóvásárhely have organized a demonstration with the support of the Hungarian Social Forum SR, by demanding the immediate release of the blocked funds unabling them to access to the total compensation for the suffered damages. Whereas the demonstration has been banned, centre-right government could not more avoid to satisfy the rightful demand of the population owing to an extraordinary succesfull press campaign directed by the HSF SR in co-operation with the local representatives. It is an interesting detail, that the main organizer of the local social opposition is a member of the ruling party of FIDESZ. Mr. Geza Czenki has also received the support of the Green Left, a little extraparliamentary party liunked with the European Left.+++
